Toni and Iian were the first couple ever to say “I do” with Pop Up Weddings Bayside and they couldn’t have been happier!
It feels like so long ago now! And we’ve celebrated love with so many couples since Toni and Iian’s beautiful beach wedding in August 2016.
Set on another incredible day at our local Stradbroke Island, Toni’s day started with her best friends ever who traveled abroad to be with her on her special day! Suzie from An Eye for Style pampered her with hair and makeup, she wore the sweetest tea-length dress and… …thongs! What else would you wear on your feet for a true beach elopement?
The pair were so thrilled to see each other at their bamboo alter, there were laughs and giggles the entire way through the ceremony. Ketrina, their civil marriage celebrant told stories of their courtship and laughed alongside them.
Romana captured all the fun (I’d like to say “on film”, but that doesn’t happen anymore lol). She drove them to North Gorge for more photos and they enjoyed sharing their day with some furry photobombers – the local wallabies and kangaroos!
Toni and Iian finished up, celebrating with their nearest and dearest at the Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel… it was all so intimate and in the true spirit of the micro wedding.
